About the Event
We welcome you to join us for a community event that is set in nature
and is all about compassionate connection, playfulness, empowerment, knowledge sharing, exploring new ways of community-building and finding like-minded people.
We will feed you lots of good and organic stuff mentally, emotionally, socially & literally (there will be food).
Potgrond wants to provide fertile ground to the community to grow individually and collectively by offering workshops for all levels of depth and connection.
Think from drag to legal legislation around discrimination and from physical exertion workshops to turning inward and slowing down.
Apart from the workshops there will also be a fair where you can find arts and crafts by local queer artists/ crafters.
When you want to chill out by yourself or connect silently you can stay in our chill out space where you can choose to listen to relaxing music, some
active workshops or some panel conversations. This low-stimuli zone is made possible through the support of Fonkel silent radio headphones.
If you'd rather connect socially and meet new friends we have a collab with Let's Talk,
who will facilitate meeting new people over food as we will also host a mutual aid kitchen for which the proceeds will go to a Palestinian cause, we will share more about this later.
You can register to attend this event by clicking the register button in the bottom-left corner!
To be a part of our fair of local artists & crafters, sign up HERE.
We are still looking for volunteers for the event on the day itself and also to support the mutual aid kitchen. If this appeals to you, please reach out via potgrond.info@proton.me
We look forward to seeing you there!

Workshop Round 1Strength for trans masc & non binary bois
A strength and conditioning session specifically created for trans masc and non-binary bois. Together, we tone bodies through weightlifting and bodyweight exercises, with a focus on areas of the body where dysphoria may be more present.
Are you completely new to strength training and want to learn the basics? Already been lifting and ready to get sweaty and strong? This workshop has space for you.
Bring along: bottle of water, a small towel for when you get sweaty.
Max amount of participants: TBA
Hoe word ik een graafdier? (VOL)
we, voelen we, ruiken we? Wat gebeurt er wanneer we aarden?
We gaan die vragen verkennen in drie fasen. Reflectie - beweging - (creatieve) expressie. We keren in
Meebrengen: blinddoek (vrijblijvend); jouw vertrouwde knutsel-, teken-, verf-, … spullen
Max aantal deelnemers: 10 (Deze workshop heeft momenteel zijn maximum aantal deelnemers bereikt.)
Boxing Workshop
As a part of Van Monck Autonomous Gym, monck xxxx has been training behind closed
doors without the presence of cis men. The collective is planning to open up these monthly trainings to all.
Curious? Join this workshop and get to know us! Expect a playful mix of cardio and strength exercises and
English and kickbox. All levels welcome!
Bring along: bottle of water.
Max amount of participants: 20
Trans Bodies show & tell
In this workshop people will be invited to share something about their trans body
and relationship to it. It will be a space where people can be naked or maybe just take off a sock or two.
There is no expectation to take of any clothing at all. Having run spaces like this in the past, the
positive impact has been great to see. People have understood their body in a new way and been able to see
their own experiences and questions reflected in others. It's a way of showing honest representation of
trans bodies we still miss in society.
Bring along: a towel or other item you can sit on so we don't have bare bums on the seating!
Max amount of participants: 10
Break
Line Dance
Grab your boots, hat, or whatever feels right and join us for a good ol' time at our line dance workshop! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just looking to have fun, this is a laid-back, no-pressure space where we'll teach you the steps, and you'll learn how to move to the rhythm of some country tunes with a little modern flair.
Whether you're here for the music, the community, or just some good times, we've got a spot for you! So, come on down, whip up your best rodeo outfit and let's dance like nobody's watching. Y'all ready?
Best dress-up gets a free dessert from All Cakes Are Beautiful!
Workshop Round 2
Somatic Yoga
Content over form // somatic yoga as an invitation to self-knowledge
In this workshop, we start from a simple question: What if you let your body guide you?
We live in a society that is mostly focused on form. How things look, how things “should” be, how we are “supposed” to move or exist. What if we choose content instead? The ingredient, the inner movement. What is truly happening inside your body, what wants to be felt?
In this session, we invite you to connect with your physical intelligence. To listen to your own boundaries, your own feel-good, your own intuition. We create a space together where you can get more familiar with what feels true for you: where you might want to stretch a little more, where you might be pushing unnecessarily, and where it can simply be soft and enough.
Somatic yoga offers you skills and freedom to move in ways that really suit you, instead of trying to fit fixed forms or expectations. Coming from a background as an Ashtanga yogi, I know how rigid practice can be. Somatic yoga invites you to let go of these shapes and move at your own rhythm as an echo, or alliteration, to this society.
This workshop is an invitation to become curious about yourself. To get to know your own body as a place of knowledge, joy, and wisdom.
Bring along: yoga mat and other props to make you feel comfortable, bottle of water.

Inner Compass Workshop
Consent is so much more than just saying yes and no to things. It begins one step earlier: knowing what you want and don't want! How does (not) wanting something feel in your body? In this gentle, body-based workshop, we explore how to recognize and reconnect with our inner ‘yes’ and ‘no’. Many of us — especially those in queer and marginalized communities — have been taught to override our instincts and ignore our body’s signals.
Here we will try and reconnect with the communication style of our bodies. Through guided reflection and somatic exercises, we’ll begin to tune in to the subtle ways our bodies communicate what feels right or wrong for us. You'll be invited to notice sensations, emotions, images, or colors that arise in response to certain stimuli — and to explore your personal boundaries in a safe, affirming space. We will slow down to feel and build a better connection with ourselves.
This workshop is trauma-informed, queer-centered, and consent-based. Everything is an invitation — nothing is mandatory. You are welcome exactly as you are.
No previous experience with somatic work needed.
Bring along: yoga mat or something to sit on comfortably, journal or notebook if you have
one, pen, object that has important value for you, bottle of water.
Max amount of participants: 12
Discriminatie Wetgeving Workshop
Max aantal deelnemers: 10
